About the Company: Our client is a leading securities register and data management provider in the Nigerian Capital Market.
The Company is seeking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager with robust network and proven track record of sales in the Registrars space in Nigeria to lead its commercial team.
Job Objective: To provide oversight on the teams activities while establishing a strong relationship with prospective and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing lasting relationship with prospective clients
Strategizing on developing new products
Track revenue /receivable per client
Track growth in revenue
Attend to various client requests
Report on the success of the business and areas that needs improvement
Follow industry trends and be proactive in advising Management accordingly
Increase Client base
Acquisition of new business
Provide monthly activity updates to clients
Manage and retain existing relationship with existing clients
Write business proposal
Deepen relationship with Issuing houses
Education
First degree in Business Marketing or related field
Post graduate degree in any field is an added advantage
Experience
Minimum 8 years cognate experience
7 8years experience in sales or marketing or related field with the following ability to: Increase Revenue build strategic partnership making strategic decisions increase profitability increase growth in terms of business expansion identify sales and pitch goods and services to new clients.

Proficiency with the use of MS Office Suites e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint etc.

General Key Performance Indicators
Development of at least one new product every year
VRS The sale of virtual reporting solution to clients with the aim to meet set target
Timely delivery of bills to clients on or before the 3rd of every month
Acquisition of new businesses at least 2 Bond registers 4 Equity registers 4
Mutual funds registers in a year
Provision of required responses to clients query or reports within 24hrs
Timely dispatch of reports to clients on or before the 7th of every month
Adequate record keeping for all client information
Compensation: Pay ranges BTW N1.5m to N1.8m monthly net (slightly negotiable) Other Benefits
