Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Lead and liaise communication on fabrication installation and maintenance of sheet metal products and structures ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints cutting and shaping metal and assembling and installing components to create functional and aesthetically pleasing products.
- Accurately provide measurements & communicate directions in cutting bending and shaping sheet metal using various hand tools power tools and machinery.
- Lead and direct Assembly of sheet metal components and products according to blueprints specifications and standards.
- Ensure all fabricated parts meet dimensional accuracy and quality requirements.
- Ensure all decision are Managed Up
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and rectify defects or issues in fabrication and installation processes.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Keep accurate records of work completed materials used and any issues encountered.
- Report progress and any deviations from the plan to supervisors or project managers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Virtual Estimator.
- Experience in the Building and Construction Industry specifically with sheet metals and roofing is highly preferred.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Must have relevant experience of 2 years or more in Administrative support. Must have Experience with QTO (quantity takeoff) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Great attention to detail Highly organized with good attention to detail Experience in establishing and maintaining effective administrative systems and processes Ability to work autonomously and as a team member Experience in Xero is highly preferred Deep understanding of the building and construction industry
