The Lead Alumni Engagement will be key in building and nurturing meaningful relationships with alumni of Bhumi s programs. This role focuses on strengthening connections providing support and creating opportunities for alumni to continue contributing to and benefiting from the Bhumi ecosystem. The Lead will ensure alumni feel valued supported and empowered to grow personally and professionally.
About the Program:
The Bhumi Fellowship aims to develop young changemakers in education. The Fellowship is designed as a twoyear experiential learning journey where youth build their leadership skills to create an impact in the education system. Integrating whole school transformation is at the heart of the Bhumi Fellowship. Fellows assist teachers school officials and parents in supporting the holistic development of children. In the next decade we aim to impact the lives of one million children through the Bhumi Fellowship.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Organize reunions regional meetups and virtual gatherings to strengthen relationships with alumni.
- Provide career guidance and job placement assistance to alumni connecting them with relevant opportunities.
- Curate and share resources for professional development such as workshops webinars and skillbuilding opportunities.
- Create structured opportunities for alumni to give back to Bhumi through mentorship program support or community projects.
- Track and report on the impact of alumni in their respective fields and communities highlighting how their experiences with Bhumi Fellowship have contributed to their success.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Educational Degree : Any Graduate postgraduate or fellowship
- Relevant Experience(in years) : 12 years of experience in alumni engagement community relations or similar
Knowledge & Skill sets required:
- Strong relationshipbuilding skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Empathy and active listening abilities to understand and address alumni needs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to craft engaging content for newsletters and social media.

- Strong data analysis skills to track engagement metrics and derive actionable insights.
