Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for quality reliability and costeffectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with vendors.

Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor stock levels and plan for seasonal demand fluctuations.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure procured products comply with quality and food safety standards (e.g. HACCP FSSAI FDA).
- Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with hygiene and regulatory standards.

Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the procurement budget to achieve cost efficiency.
- Monitor market trends to secure competitive pricing and forecast cost changes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance based on key metrics like quality delivery timelines and pricing.

Benefits
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Food Technology or a related field.
Proven experience (5 years) as a Purchase Manager preferably in the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g. HACCP FSSAI FDA).
Expertise in vendor negotiation and contract management.
Proficiency in procurement software.
