Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design structural drawings for light gauge (coldformed steel) and concrete structures per ACI code.
- Ensure compliance with New York structural and civil codes.
- Design underpinning and excavation support for new and existing structures.
- Prepare design calculations specifications and analysis reports.
- Assist with construction services including reviewing shop drawings responding to RFIs and conducting site inspections.
- Use structural software like AutoCAD SAFE ETABS RAM and Revit.
- Coordinate with architects engineers and project owners.
- Maintain strong attention to detail organization and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
