Business Head
The Business
A large multinational supplier of apparels is seeking an experienced Business Head to develop new business. The position is based in Gurgaon India. The role will suit someone with a sales/marketing/business development background who has a strong track record of sales performance and a network of buyer contacts in the UK or Europe. Sourcing and merchandising of orders will be from India and Bangladesh mainly.
Business Head The Role
- Develop new business with existing accounts and open new accounts
- Lead the Sales and Business Development efforts of the unit in India
- Overall management of functions Sales Sourcing Merchandising etc
- Oversee production management to ensure timely deliveries
- Oversee quality to ensure negligible rejections
- Ensure factory meets the compliance as per technical and compliance requirements of the buyer
- Ensure compliance with local laws
Requirements
Business Head The Person
- Proven track record in Sales and Business Development
- Prior experience in running a business with a supplier/buying agency
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good reporting skills
Salary: Up to INR 50 Lakhs for the right candidate
