Job Description: Avantis Resources is seeking a midlevel Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Associate with 35 years of experience to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions private equity transactions and general corporate matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute M&A transactions including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements merger agreements and ancillary documents.
- Conduct and oversee due diligence processes identifying potential risks and advising clients accordingly.
- Advise clients on corporate governance compliance and general corporate matters.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including tax finance and regulatory specialists to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Stay current on evolving corporate laws and regulations to provide clients with uptodate advice.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission).
- 35 years of relevant experience in corporate M&A preferably within a large law firm or reputable boutique firm.
- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Exceptional analytical research and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
