Job Description
A fastgrowing data platform startup in NYC is looking for a Senior BackEnd Engineer to join its small but dynamic team. With a platform serving 100000 users and an exciting roadmap ahead this is a unique opportunity to make a major impact in an earlystage startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the CTO and founding engineers to develop and scale backend systems.
- Design and build APIs services pipelines and data structures to support new product features.
- Ensure code quality scalability and best engineering practices in development and deployment.
- Contribute to technical and architectural discussions without direct personnel management.
Requirements
- 7 years of backend development experience with Node.js.
- Proven ability to deploy applications on AWS.
- Strong understanding of frontend data and API interactions for seamless integration.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with React TypeScript and Grafana is a plus.
- Startup experience (teams under 1520 engineers) is highly preferred.
