Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for effective provisioning operation installation/configuration and maintenance of PoC environment including hardware/software/related infrastructure. Provides technical support guidance and handson delivery in the planning implementation and ongoing operation of to ensure effective execution during the PoC. The Systems Engineer shall participate in technical analysis research test and evaluation to enable successful completion of the PoC.
The SE Ensure that system hardware operating systems software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational requirements. The Systems Engineer shall document specifications project plans configurations test plans and results. Depicts complex ideas issues and designs to varied audiences; communicates project objectives scope and status to project teams.
Minimum Education: BS in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering IT or closely related discipline.
Minimum Experience:
- Ten (10) years of overall professional experience in the engineering field.
- Five (5) years experience with modern SW programming languages and relational databases. Resume shall demonstrate experience working in legacy system modernization.
- Five or more years working and developing processes plans procedures to support SW modernization efforts.
- Demonstrated experience with agile SW methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience implementing solutions for DevSeCOps.
- Preference for experience working with AI/ML tools.
Required Clearance/Certification(s):
- Mustpossess ITII security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
- Requires Experience in Cobol and Java.
