Job Description
Senior IT Security Engineer
This is a contract opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity in Framingham MA
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Engineer to join our IT Security team. In this critical role you will design implement and maintain robust security solutions to protect TJXs systems and data. Youll be at the forefront of identifying vulnerabilities managing security threats and ensuring compliance with industry standards all while supporting a dynamic and fastpaced retail environment. Your expertise will help safeguard TJXs systems and drive continuous improvement in our security posture.
Job Responsibilities Develop and implement secure system and network designs to protect enterprise assets.
Proactively identify analyze and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
Lead investigations and respond to security incidents ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Evaluate recommend and implement new security technologies and tools to enhance TJXs security posture.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations (e.g. PCI DSS GDPR SOX).
Collaborate with IT application development and business teams to integrate security best practices into systems and processes.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members on security practices.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.
10 years of experience in IT security engineering or a related role.
Strong knowledge of network security cloud security (AWS Azure) and endpoint protection.
Handson experience with security tools such as firewalls IDS/IPS SIEM and vulnerability management systems.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python PowerShell).
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST).
Certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH or GIAC.
Experience in a retail or multilocation business environment.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Pay Range: $109 $125/hr
