Job Description

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Houston TX (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract



Job Description:

Must Skills: Oil &Gas Technical Authoring documentation

Roles & Responsibilities:


Creating operating instructions assembly procedures disassembly procedures quality inspection procedures testing procedures Service & Repair procedures
Create interactive procedure user interface that supports both manual and autonomous procedure performance
Create collaborative and interactive routine operating procedures so multiple operators can view and collaborate on a single procedure at the same time
Understand the gate reviews and priorities for New Document Requests & Revision Document Requests
Prepare checklists & reviewed documented procedures



Required Skills (Technical Competency):


Proven working experience in technical authoring
Strong experience using illustration tools creating interactive & visual procedures & documentation.
Experience on Teamcenter
Experience in new technical documentation and revision & maintenance of existing documentation.
Hands on experience working on any content management tool
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text & pictures & with visual interpretation
Excellent oral & written communication skills in English language


Desired Skills:

Preferred working experience in Oil & Gas domain
