What you will be doing: Director of Nursing Surgical Services
- Establish and enforce policies procedures standards and objectives.
- Direct and supervise staff and workflow.
- Maintain budgetary or fiscal accountability.
- Ensure the ongoing effective operation of the assigned Nursing department 24/7.
- Support the hospital’s mission vision goals and objectives while focusing on the customers.
- Oversee continuous assessment improvement coordination and integration of departmental services.
- Approve timekeeping and employee evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Approve supply orders and participate in departmental strategic planning.
Experience you will need: Director of Nursing Surgical Services
- Bachelors degree in nursing Business Administration Management or a related field or equivalent minimum experience.
- Preferred: MSN.
- Minimum of five years experience in nursing management in a hospital setting.
- Progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or director.
- Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.
- Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider.
- Preferred Certification/Registration: For Wound Care WOCN.
- 3 years of hospital experience in surgical services/OR is a must have.
