This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Marlborough MA Time with a 30minute paid break
Responsibilities:
Inside Sales Representatives main responsibility is to call potential new customers to sell our 2025/2026 Student Planners. Educate customers on the product assortment and option. Provide quotes to prospective customers and followup as needed to help convert quotes to orders.
- Use our integrated calling system (Connect And Sell) to contact new prospects via phone call.
- Determine whether the school currently buys Student Planners or is interested in buying Student Planners.
- Determine who oversees the Student Planner purchase at the school you are calling.
- Determine if there is any interest in samples quotes or both.
- Build a good rapport with prospects and generate new customers through calling and followup.
- Update prospect info & status directly in Connect And Sell and HubSpot
- Participate in weekly team meetings with Sales Manager and other Employees
- Participate weekly in 1 on 1 meetings with Sales Manager
- Create quotes in our ordering system (OPS) and send them to customers
- Maintain KPI s for building a sales pipeline such as:
- Calls Made
- Conversations
- Talk Time
- Meetings Scheduled
- Sample Requested
- Quotes Sent
- Orders Placed
- Cross Sell our Teacher Planning Products to both schools that order Student Planners and those who do not
Requirements
- Previous experience with inside sales and cold calling is a must!
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Strong Communication and telephone skills.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to accurately record information in Connect And Sell and HubSpot
- Confident and articulate communicator via phone or email and possesses selfconfidence to manage challenging customers
- Strong English Speaker
- Ability to spend most of the day on outbound calling efforts
