The Corporate Legal and Recovery Specialist is responsible for managing the organization's legal matters ensuring
regulatory compliance mitigating legal risks and recovering outstanding debts or assets. This role involves working
closely with internal departments external legal counsel and recovery agents to safeguard the companys interests.
Role & Responsibilities
Corporate Legal Duties
1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to applicable laws and regulations. Monitor updates in
legal and regulatory frameworks and recommend necessary adjustments.
2. Contracts and Agreements: Draft review and negotiate contracts agreements and legal documents. Ensure
contracts are legally sound and aligned with business goals.
3. Legal Advisory: Provide legal counsel to management on corporate governance policies and procedures. Manage
potential legal risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
4. Litigation Management: Represent the organization in disputes and oversee litigation cases. Coordinate with
external legal counsel for efficient case handling.
5. Intellectual Property: Safeguard company intellectual property including trademarks copyrights and patents.
Recovery Duties
1.Debt Recovery: Develop strategies to recover outstanding dues from clients and partners. Engage with debt
recovery agents and legal professionals to resolve cases.
2. Asset Recovery: Identify and recover misappropriated lost or fraudulently acquired corporate assets.
3. Negotiation and Dispute Resolution: Lead negotiations for settlements and recovery agreements. Utilize ADR
methods like mediation or arbitration to expedite recoveries.
4. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of legal cases recovery efforts and outcomes. Prepare
periodic reports for senior management on recovery status and legal matters
Job Requirement:
Qualification: Education: Bachelors degree in Law (LLB); Masters degree (LLM) is an advantage.
Experience: 5 years in corporate legal recovery or related fields.
Skills: Strong understanding of corporate laws and debt recovery processes. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Problemsolving mindset with attention to detail. Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
