Position: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A) to join our esteemed manufacturing clients team. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis process providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and driving the companys financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the financial planning and analysis process including budgeting forecasting and longterm financial planning
Develop and maintain financial models to support decision making and drive business performance
Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management including financial trends variances and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze financial data identify areas for cost savings and revenue growth and develop action plans to achieve financial targets
Monitor and report on key financial metrics highlighting risks and opportunities to senior management
Manage the monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting process ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including department heads to understand business operations and drive financial performance
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis and recommend improvements to processes and systems as needed
Mentor and develop team members providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
Proven experience in budgeting forecasting and financial modeling
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify key business drivers and provide actionable recommendations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and present financial information to senior management
Experience with financial planning and analysis software (e.g. Adaptive Insights Hyperion) is a plus
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members
High level of integrity and a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
