Job Description
Our Commercial Finance team is growing! We are looking for a Commercial Business Partner that will play a key role in driving commercial insights and sustainable practices across the GYG network. This role will primarily support operations offering indepth commercial and financial analysis to ensure optimal outcomes. This is the perfect role for someone who is naturally curious highly analytical and able to influence change within a business.
What you can expect:
- Prepare and distribute monthly P&L reports for AU and International restaurants along with ROI report packs for senior leadership and the board
- Liaise with Franchisees and franchisee bookkeepers to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Administer the Fathom platform manager user access and ensure proper KPI mapping
- Provide regular KPI analysis and insights focusing on cost control commodity prices yield and labour
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts for restaurants
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights for business growth
- Support franchisees with financial queries and engage in new restaurant growth initiatives
- Monitor and report on restaurant financial performance
- Support with adhoc projects and provide business valuations
Youll enjoy this role if you have:
- 37 years experience in a fast paced environment
- CPA CA or CIMA qualification is preferred
- Advanced proficiency to Microsoft excel
- Strong P&L understanding with the ability to analyse financial data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to explain complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders
- Strong commercial mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities
- Highly analytical detail orientated and results driven
