The Finance Business Partner Lead will partner with the Insurance business and Senior Finance Managers to provide effective planning analysis and advice on all financial aspects of the business. This role requires strong leadership to influence stakeholders at all levels across the businesses with integrity and transparency and plays a critical role in establishing broader business cadence.

You will have commercial and financial expertise to challenge as well as partner with the business to deliver the optimal business outcomes delivering to the strategy of the Qantas Loyalty segment. Critical to the success of this role is the need to support effective commercial outcomes the ability to make appropriate levels of judgement and the capability to drive accurate forecasts which identify and mitigate business risk.

Youll have

• Financial acumen including 58 years of experience
• CPA/CA/equivalent qualification
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders within the business
• Previous experience with delivery against forecast management of the annual operating budget and forecasting for business opportunities
• Previous experience in a large complex organisation
• Demonstrated contribution to the continuous improvement of a business Finance function
• Resource management experience in a project context
• Ability to identify and know how to overcome roadblocks to deliver successful outcomes
• Good communication and influencing skills to ensure project visibility and support Intellectual capability to quickly understand and apply new concepts
• Strong sense of urgency focus on outcomes and drive for success
• Ability to work in teams and to lead and contribute in a team environment
• Sound organisational skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
• Demonstrated analytical financial and/or problemsolving skills
• Own and develop relationships in the business & influence senior leadership decisions
