Job Description

Job Title: Sourcing Technical Writer
Location: Hybrid Boston MA 02108
Duration: 6 months
Job Summary

The Operational Services Division (OSD) oversees statewide procurement in Massachusetts managing contracts and providing resources to buyers and vendors. The Sourcing Technical Writer will support the Sourcing department by reviewing and updating contract templates (RFR CUG SOW) and developing RFRs for two new ITrelated contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and revise RFR CUG and SOW templates to improve clarity consistency and technical accuracy.
  • Develop RFRs and SOWs for IT Telecommunications and Cellular Services contracts.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers engineers and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency in technical documents.
  • Create new templates and guidelines to streamline writing and review processes.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with procurement standards and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a technical writer.
  • Strong ability to gather requirements from SMEs and end users.
  • Familiarity with IT products and services preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical writing tools.
  • Selfmotivated detailoriented and skilled in handling ambiguity.
