Engineer - PHE

• Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and welldefined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
• Designs and develops plumbing systems for various building types ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Calculates heating and cooling loads for HVAC system design.
• Collaborates with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate PHE systems into overall building design.
• Prepares technical specifications and drawings for PHE systems using CAD software.
• Conducts site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for project planning.
• Participates in project meetings to discuss progress challenges and solutions related to PHE systems.
• Assists in the preparation of cost estimates and project schedules for PHE components.
• Stays current with industry trends new technologies and best practices in plumbing heating and engineering.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in plumbing heating and engineering (PHE) design for multiuse buildings
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hiring
• Proficient in PHE & Fire services Design for Buildings (multi uses)
• Advanced knowledge of local and international building codes and regulations related to PHE systems
• Expertlevel proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and Navisworks software
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including load calculations and energy efficiency principles
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D modeling techniques
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with crossfunctional teams
• Proven project management skills including budgeting and scheduling
• Ability to perform site visits and assessments as needed
• Commitment to staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in PHE systems
