Job Description

Company: The Workvilla

Title: Facility Management Executive Workvilla Chennai

Location:Prakash Presidium 110 Mahatma Gandhi Road Nungambakkam Chennai 600034.

Industry : Interior Industry

Working Hours: 9.30 am 6.30 pm

Experience Required: 2 years

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Facility Maintenance:

    • Oversee the daytoday operations of the facility to ensure a safe clean and wellmaintained environment.
    • Conduct routine inspections of the facility including interiors exteriors and equipment to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  2. Vendor Coordination:

    • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers for maintenance repairs and other facilityrelated services.
    • Obtain and negotiate quotations from vendors for facilityrelated services and supplies.
  3. Operational Management:

    • Ensure uninterrupted operation of utilities such as electricity HVAC systems plumbing and security systems.
    • Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance tasks for building systems and equipment.
  4. Inventory and Supplies:

    • Monitor and manage inventory of essential supplies and tools for facility operations.
    • Replenish supplies as needed to avoid operational downtime.
  5. Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with health safety and building regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety checks and fire drills and maintain records for audits.
  6. Team Coordination:

    • Supervise housekeeping staff and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient facility management.
    • Assign tasks and monitor performance to meet facility management standards.
  7. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain records of facility expenses maintenance schedules and vendor contracts.
    • Generate periodic reports on facility operations and maintenance activities.
Key Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of facility management and maintenance practices.

  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills.

  • Vendor management and negotiation abilities.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for recordkeeping and reporting.

  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Facility Management Business Administration or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facility management or a related role.
