We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst (Power BI) to design develop and implement interactive and insightful business intelligence dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Power BI capabilities expertise in DAX and a solid foundation in data modelling and analytics. The candidate will also be responsible for owning and maintaining existing business dashboards and supporting the organization in maximizing the value derived from its data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dashboard and Report Development:
- Develop and design interactive visually appealing and performanceoptimized dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into insightful visuals and KPIs.
- DAX Expertise:
- Create and optimize complex DAX queries for calculated columns measures and tables.
- Troubleshoot and debug DAX formulas to ensure accurate reporting.
- Data Modelling:
- Design and implement efficient star/snowflake schemabased models in Power BI.
- Perform data transformations using Power Query and integrate multiple data sources (SQL Excel cloud data).
- Data Analysis and Storytelling:
- Analyse data to uncover trends and insights that support datadriven decisionmaking.
- Build narratives around data for effective business communication.
- Performance Optimization:
- Optimize Power BI datasets and visuals for scalability and performance.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Power BI development and deployment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders business analysts and data teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Provide training and support to endusers to ensure adoption and usability of Power BI solutions.

- Proficient in Power BI and strong expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Handson experience with Power Query for data transformations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Foundational Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and relational databases.

- 36 years of handson experience in Power BI development.
- Experience in integrating multiple data sources into Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize DAX formulas.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Business Management Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- An Analytics and Visualization diploma or a major course in a related field would be an added advantage
