Role Responsibility:

Design end-to-end data architecture solutions using Snowflake.

Create scalable, secure, and resilient data models and data pipelines.
.

Develop strategies for data acquisition, storage, processing, and integration within Snowflake.
.

Design and implement data models (star, snowflake schemas) for optimal performance.
.

Implement best practices for data warehousing, including data partitioning, clustering, and indexing.
.

Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across all datasets.
.

Design and develop ETL/ELT workflows and processes for data ingestion into Snowflake.
.

Optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance and scalability.
.

Design and develop workflows using Azure durable functions.
.

Collaborate with data engineers to automate and orchestrate data pipelines.
.

Monitor and tune Snowflake performance to ensure efficient query execution and resource utilization.
.

Implement techniques for query optimization, caching, and workload management.
.

Perform regular audits and troubleshooting to maintain system performance.
.

Implement and manage data security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking.
.

Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
.

Develop and enforce data governance best practices within the Snowflake environment.
.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data architects and engineers.
.

Document architectural designs, data flows, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
.

Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features, releases, and industry trends.
.

Identify opportunities for improving data architecture, processes, and technology stack.
.

Lead and participate in initiatives to enhance data platform capabilities and performance.
Role Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience of at least 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and data engineering
