- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management
- Prepare meals from standardized recipes ensuring timely and attractive presentation
- Coordinate food preparation and set up service lines and workstations
- Assist in menu planning food ordering and inventory management
- Train and mentor kitchen staff fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes
- Participate in premeal meetings with food servers to review daily menu details
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organize stock rooms coolers and freezers
- Implement food waste reduction techniques and proper food storage practices
- Contribute to menu innovation and cost control initiatives
