Language and Learning Foundation () is a New Delhibased nonprofit organization with the vision of enhancing equitable student learning especially language and literacy development through the professional development of teachers and teacher educators building/sharing knowledge and implementing projects in collaboration with state governments. LLF currently works with 7 state governments across the country.

LLF is a systemfocused and impactdriven organization dedicated to addressing the foundational learning crisis in collaboration with the national and state governments in India. Over the past 8 years we have improved foundational learning outcomes of 850000 children and classroom processes of 250000 teachers and teacher educators across 8 states. Position Summary

The Associate Director Fundraising & Partnerships will play a critical role in advancing the mission of the Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) by leading and implementing strategic fundraising initiatives. This role involves fostering strong relationships with donors partners and stakeholders while aligning the fundraising strategy with organizational goals to ensure sustainability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Fundraising Strategy and Implementation:

  • Understand the needs of LLFs programs and organizational goals to design and execute an effective and diversified fundraising strategy.
  • Stay updated on donor trends philanthropic opportunities and best practices in fundraising.
  • Lead the implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy through partnerships with CSR initiatives HighNetWorth Individuals (HNIs) and both domestic and foreign foundations.
  • Work closely with program teams to develop compelling concept notes and proposals tailored to various categories of funders.
  • Drive donor acquisition and retention by nurturing leads and maintaining active communication with prospective and existing donors.

2. Building and Leveraging Relationships:

  • Represent LLF at forums events and meetings to establish and strengthen partnerships with donors and stakeholders
  • Deepen relationships with current donors to maximize support and strategically expand LLFs donor network.
  • Support fundraising initiatives in collaboration with LLF USA Inc. (501(c)(3) charity registered in the USA) including event management and donor engagement efforts.

3. Communications and Collateral:

  • Enhance the current fundraising collateral including pitch decks ensuring alignment with the fundraising strategy and donor preferences.
  • Develop and deliver a robust communication strategy to support grant applications networking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to align messaging across newsletters media platforms and the LLF website to effectively highlight fundraising objectives.

4. Donor Management:

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of donor reports meeting all reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • Enhance donor engagement and satisfaction by working closely with program teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.

5. Leadership and Team Collaboration:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the fundraising team fostering a highperforming and collaborative culture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including programs communications and operations to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities.

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in a relevant field such as Marketing Business Administration Development Studies or Social Work.
  2. Minimum of 1520 years of experience in fundraising donor management or partnership development preferably in the notforprofit or education sector.
  3. Demonstrated track record of successfully securing and managing highvalue partnerships and grants.
  4. Strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem philanthropic landscape and funding mechanisms.
  5. Strong writing editing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and channels.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Strategic thinker with the ability to lead influence analyze data identify insights and make datadriven decisions.
  8. Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  9. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fastpaced environment.
  10. Commitment to LLFs mission and values.
