Job Description
Management of construction activities
- Safety Ensuring site standards maintained assisting risk assessment site instructions and inspections.
- Production Working to programme and mitigating lost time where possible.
- Quality Ensuring standards of workmanship are maintained. Ensure completion of quality records ensuring maintenance of processcapability
- Problem solving / trouble shooting.
- Preparing & Reviewing RAMS for site activities.
- Maintaining & Updating the construction plans and associated documentation.
Control of costs
- Manpower
- Materials
- Plant and vehicles
- Damages and thefts
Liaison with the Health & Safety Manager
- Working together to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results.
- Dealing with improvement notices where applicable.
- Adopting Client Best Practices and creating New Best Practices.
Liaison with the Clients Site Operatives
- Working together to ensure safety quality and environmental standards are achieved.
- Development / maintenance of competency levels.
- Ensuring coordination of activities are agreed with the site operations.
Liaison with the Planning Manager
- Construction planning and reporting on progress.
- Informing of any lost time delays or potential compensation events.
Liaison with the Clients representatives:
- Progress meetings.
- Day to day activities.
Control of plant equipment and materials.
Administration.
- Documentation. Quality records as built information time sheets work records allocation sheets etc
- Meeting with Planners Contracts Manager Senior Agents Project Manager.
Qualifications :
SMSTS or equivalent
First Aid
CSCS
Asbestos Awareness.
