Compliance & Safety Ensuring the business adheres to all Health & Safety regulations and legal requirements and 100% statutory compliance is maintained at all times. Carry out risk assessments ensuring safety & compliance across the offices. Standardising procedures across all AEIL UK sites. Support on compliance with and achievement of ISO accreditations.
Team Leadership Supervising onsite staff & contractors ensuring adequate facilities management resource and providing emergency/outofhours coverage where required.
Budgeting and cost control Specific focus on energy & utility efficiencies and VFM maintenance contracts.
Liaison with Facilities Management suppliers Management of maintenance/repairs oversight of contracts cost & quality control
Oversee office maintenance and repairs Ensure all facility repairs and services are carried out in compliance with legal and H&S legislation.
Asset register Keep equipment asset list up to date and maintain a statutory servicing and testing log for all such equipment.
UK Office strategy Facilities lead on the opening of new & closing of old offices.
ESG Provide and lead on strategies which align with Company ESG policy. Work closely with Group & AEIL dept heads on sustainability initiatives to ensure carbon reduction targets are met. Oversee carbon reduction roadmap and projects supporting action plan.
CSRD Understand the legal requirements of the directive ensure compliance with the directive and Group mandates. Ensure required KPIs are accurately produced and submitted on a timely basis. Liaison with internal/external auditors.
Qualifications :
Skills Required
Experience working in a MultiSite FM role
Strong knowledge of building systems HVAC electrical plumbing and fire safety systems
Able to source / manage external suppliers & contractors
IOSH / NEBOSH certification
Strong knowledge of ISO accreditations
Leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication
Essential Criteria
Relevant qualification from an Industry recognised authority
Membership of an Industry professional body
Strong interest in sustainability and carbon reduction
Demonstrable experience in a Facilities environment
Thorough understanding of relevant legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act legal requirements)
Experience in budget preparation and presentation
Skilled in IT systems (PowerPoint Excel Word Outlook)
Additional Information :
**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a nonITAR country.
