Job Description

Position: Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the team of one of our esteemed clients (a nonprofit hospital). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing actuarial support and analysis. This is a fulltime position with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct actuarial analysis and research to support crucial projects

Develop and maintain actuarial models and tools

Prepare and present reports on actuarial findings and recommendations

Collaborate with team members to provide actuarial support for client engagements

Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance

Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies

Mentor and train junior analysts

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an actuarial role

Strong knowledge of actuarial principles and methodologies

Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (e.g. SAS R Python)

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant actuarial certifications (e.g. ASA FSA) preferred
