Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts and Payroll Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will manage a full set of accounts oversee payroll for both Malaysian and expatriate employees and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
The role requires handson experience excellent organizational skills and proficiency in accounting software.

What will you do:
Accounts Management:

  • Handle a full set of accounts including general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Manage the setup of new company accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Coordinate and liaise with auditors for annual audits.
  • Manage company taxation ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

Payroll Administration:

  • Process payroll for Malaysian and expatriate employees ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
  • Handle statutory payments such as EPF SOCSO EIS and PCB ensuring timely submissions.
  • Manage manual payroll processes when necessary.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and submissions for audits and tax purposes.

Software Utilization:

  • Work with accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks for accounting.
  • Work with accounting software such as BrioHR Payroll Panda or any other tools for payroll.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records in digital and manual systems.

Who are we looking for:

  • Proven experience in managing a full set of accounts audits and taxation.
  • Minimum of 5years of payroll experience in Malaysia for both Malaysian and expatriate employees.
  • Handson knowledge of statutory payments and compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Experience in BrioHR Payroll Panda or any other payroll software.
  • Experience with manual payroll processing.
  • Excellent attention to detail organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and external auditors.
