Job Description

  • Developing working relationships problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
  • Proactively managing the design process to achieve the clients requirements and manage expectations
  • Responsible for preparation of project management plans programs budgets and other key project deliverables
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications scheduling costs saving measures discrepancies potential construction problems etc.
  • Managing project timelines risks and reporting 
  • Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
  • Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
  • Managing internal project administration including invoicing variations subconsultant management and contract risk
  • Building the business through engagement marketing and tendering activities
  • Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to grow and develop professionally 
  • Contract Administration & Acting as the Superintendents Representative to support the Superintendent;
  • Writing Minutes for all meetings
  • Drafting PSC Reports Drafting Monthly reports for review by the AD or Director

Qualifications :

  • Administrative skills with strength in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) essential.
  • Familiarity with Aconex advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the Design Phase highly desirable.
  • Construction Contract Administration experience highly desirable.
  • Bachelor qualification in a construction related field or intentions to do so. Bachelor Qualification in a different field but with a keen interest in construction or experience in a construction related field. Alternatively 10 year industry experience without Bachelor qualifications.
  • Great communication skills both written (including excellent spelling and grammar) and verbal are essential. English fluency to a native standard essential.
