WastewaterDrinking Water Engineer

AECOM is seeking an experienced Wastewater/Drinking Water Engineer with strong project management skills to join our team. This role will focus on both wastewater and drinking water systems handling the design analysis and execution of engineering projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited too:

• Design review and optimize water and wastewater treatment systems including pumps pipes tanks and related infrastructure.
• Preparation of technical reports feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
• Coordination project schedules budgets and resources ensuring all milestones are met.
• Provide technical guidance and support to entrylevel/junior engineers and project teams.
• Liaise with clients regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure the effective operation of water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare and present proposals bids and other documentation for new projects.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving water quality system efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental or a related field and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in wastewater and/or drinking water system design.
• Project management experience including knowledge of budgeting scheduling and risk management.
• Expertise in water quality regulations environmental standards and treatment processes.
• Proficiency in engineering design software.
