Job Description
Building Engineering Services team is a highly qualified group of experts in offering the best solutions to international clients needs all around the world.
Been part of Building & Places unit in Spain this team is at the forefront of the discipline to design the mechanical electrical and public health (MEP) systems required for a safe comfortable and environmentally friendly operation of buildings. We embrace world class methodologies and technologies including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project lifecycle.
As aPlumbing Design Engineeryou will collaborate in designing plumbing installations for international and complex projects that are delivered across a diverse range of sectors includingIndustrial Healthcare Aviation Commercial Defense among others.
This will be some of your responsibilities:
- Design and engineering of building plumbing medical gases systems and water treatment.
- Design of fire suppression systems (fire hose reels sprinklers gas extinguishingetc) and in accordance with all applicable governing Codes and Standards and industry best practices.
- Perform studies to evaluate the costeffectiveness of design alternatives and recommend alternatives for implementation
- Develop technical specifications plans elevations section and details
- Prepare design related calculations
- Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practices
Qualifications :
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field will be essential.
- Strong background minimum 5 years of related Mechanical Engineering experience specially in plumbing systems.
- Good knowledge in international regulations and standards (BS CIBSE IMC CTE RSCIE NFPA etc).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Fire Protection systems design experience will be a plus.
- Experience with Revit.
- Excellent communication skills: articulate assertive and confident
- Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities
