Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join Data Team focusing on ensuring the stability and reliability of hybrid data platform. The role involves managing and operating key data technologies including databases and message brokers while automating deployment and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Operate maintain and manage datarelated services and technologies within our Kubernetes infrastructure.
Ensure the availability and reliability of hybrid cloud platform services.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (customer success platform operations software engineers and DevOps) to optimize service performance and availability.
Contribute to incident problem release and change management processes.
Assist in operationalizing CI/CD Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps practices.
Focus on enhancing the reliability and stability of data services.
Help build an operations team of internal and external employees.
Requirements
Advanced level in English German preferrable.
Strong documentation and communication skills with a proactive attitude.
Experience working collaboratively in crossfunctional teams using agile and DevOps methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and longterm solutions.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in addressing technical challenges.
