As a Data Platform Engineer at Axpo you will elevate Axpos data platform to the next level. Collaborating across engineering domains youll use cuttingedge technologies to bridge IT and business driving Axpo towards becoming a datadriven company with a maker mentality.
What you will do:
- Design build and improve a sustainable data platform.
- Collaborate with data engineers across the energy business to understand their needs.
- Enable data engineers with modern tools standards and best practices.
- Align platform architecture with architects engineers and security officers for stability and security.
- Engage in advanced use cases such as large IoT data streams.
- Scout for innovative technologies and share knowhow within Axpos data community.
What you bring & who you are:
- At least3 years of experiencein different fields of modern data engineering with Databricks AWS Glue or Apache Spark
- Strong programming skills in Python SQL or similar languages.
- Experienced in managing cloud environments like Azure using IaC tools like Terraform.
- Knowledge in identity and access management and networking (e.g. Azure vNet).
- Expertise in data architecture patterns like ETL medallion architecture or data mesh.
- Fluent in German or English with a proactive teamoriented mindset and a sense of humor.
