Job Description
Your tasks
Purchasing is responsible for getting all parts in the right quality within the right timeframe. Therefore we need to maintain our supplier network and juggle tasks in between parts for serial production prototyping and customer specific projects.
If you describe yourself as an organization talent with high resilience and technical affinity you are the perfect fit for our team as a Senior Technical Purchaser (f/m/x). Your tasks include:
- You are responsible for part of the procurement of mechanical and electrical components for our intelligent robots
- You conduct price negotiations with suppliers managing the process through to contract finalization
- You expand our supplier portfolio and maintain existing supplier relationships
- You review and optimize the purchasing processes
- You support project purchasing in close coordination with our development department
- You help coordinate the tasks in the team making sure our efforts are aimed in the right direction
Requirements
- You have successfully completed your technical studies or a comparable apprenticeship
- You already gained 3 years of professional experience in a similar field of activity ideally in a manufacturing environment
- You have experience in working with ERP systems
- You impress with very good technical (electrical and/or mechanical) understanding and detailed knowledge of common manufacturing processes
- You show assertiveness and strong communication skills
- You enjoy working in a small team and are happy to take on responsibility and show initiative
- You speak fluent German and very good English
