OVERVIEW
Anushkaa Foundation for Eliminating Clubfoots (AFEC) purpose is transforming young lives to flourish and unleash their potential. We are working to address the problem of untreated clubfoot in India.
Clubfoot is a congenital birth defect wherein one or both the feet are turned inwards making it a leading cause of disability in children in the developing world. Based on global estimates it was estimated more than 85% of the children in lowand middleincome countries do not have access to quality clubfoot treatment.
Clubfoot has an incidence rate of 1 in 800 births making it one of the largest causes of disability in children in the developing world. In India approximately 33000 children are born with clubfoot every year i.e. almost 19% of the total global clubfoot births.
Untreated clubfoot makes it painful and difficult to walk and such patients are at a higher risk of discrimination neglect sexual and physical abuse isolation abandonment loss of opportunities including education and several other negative socioeconomic effects on their lives.
AFEC is present in 156 districts across Eleven (11) states (Uttar Pradesh Himachal Pradesh Madhya Pradesh Gujarat Panjab Haryana Nagaland Mizoram Tripura Jharkhand and Maharashtra).
AFEC implements its program in partnership with the government. It also partners with select charitable/trust hospitals.
We are led by experts in the field of nonprofit management and a board of directors composed of Indian business leaders.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position exists to manage all accounting tasks such as monthly management accounts schedules Bank Reconciliations and related reconciliations MIS and other related tasks. The position holder would be responsible for complete accounting cash and bank management

- Vendors To maintain healthy & ethical relation for every business transaction

- To nurture relationship and ensure smooth transactions
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting:
- Verifying supporting documents of travel reimbursement and other expenses Keeping all MOUs contracts in place
- Verifying challans/ payment receipts
- Booking in Tally
- Producing ad hoc reports and reconciliations as required by the Finance Head Tally backup
- Bank reconciliation
- Bank: Dealing with Bankers for bank statements account opening etc.
- Vendor: Dealing with vendors for payments
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Level of Education Bachelor of Commerce
