AVPSr Manager - Digital Enterprise Risk Management Leading Pvt Bank

Job Role

Technology risk manager is responsible to review the New Solution implementation major enhancements and perform technology risk assessments to identify assess and mitigate risks associated within the IT environment. Also ensure governance of IT policies and procedures and provide oversight to first line of defence for managing risks & control assurance.

Technology risk manager should keep themselves abreast of new regulations change in policies within Organization Risk associated with Emerging technologies to ensure a robust framework and by continuous monitoring IT environment in the Bank by analyzing and assessing major Incidents and highlight the key risks.

The Technology Risk Manager to execute the strategy defined for IT Digital risk management and implement the comprehensive risk management framework by assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation safety security or financial success of the organization. He / She is responsible for implementing digital risk policies and procedures to address the inherent risks in the digital enterprise which includes digital products and services. Technology risk manager is required to collaborate with the Digital Banking Information Technology Information Security Internal Audit Compliance and other enabling functions to understand the underlying risks and ensure adequate controls / policies are in place to mitigate it.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Risk Management Framework

• Plan design and implement IT & Digital Risk Management framework for the organization
• Assist in risk management strategy initiatives
• Contribute to development & enhancement of IT risk assessment methodology
• Identify and discuss opportunity of enhancements within vertical / function / organization.
• Lead and execute innovation opportunity
• Play key role in automation program (any phase)

Risk identification measurement and Continuous controls

• Analyze & assess new solutions in business financial and IT systems to identify risks and associated mitigating actions
• Conduct risk identification assessment and drive mitigation. Review the appropriateness of controls related to IT Technology processes
• Provide oversight & advisory to first line of defense to strengthen internal controls
• Identify trends using advanced understanding of risk metrics (KRI) to measure control effectiveness and plan timely mitigation
• Provide support in analyzing Major incidents reviews and sharing observations/gaps in control framework to improve overall process failures
• Conduct independent review of IT policies and processes to ensure they address associated risks

Risk Governance monitoring and reporting

• Report identified risks in digital platforms / projects in management forums to the relevant stakeholders
• Highlighting areas of concern and risk trends to the senior management for timely identification and mitigation
• Maintain Risk trackers for adherence to actions timelines
• Enhance relationship maturity with stakeholders at Function Head level
• Timely escalations to IT / BTG Vertical / Function Head
• Evidence management following streamlined methods to save & archive shared evidence and maintaining confidentiality
• Risk awareness Ensure adequate risk & control processes awareness across organization by developing & delivering training workshops

Audit & Regulatory timely reporting / findings and observations closure

• Assist in responding to regulatory queries
• Liaise with internal Audit compliance team
• Track and report the compliance status of Audit findings

Internal Digital policies review

• Period review of risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the new IT regulations
