The Senior Resident in Biochemistry will be responsible for delivering highquality academic clinical and research work. The role involves assisting in the smooth functioning of the Biochemistry department conducting laboratory procedures teaching medical students and participating in clinical decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise laboratory diagnostic services including routine and advanced biochemical tests.
- Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of laboratory results.
- Collaborate with clinicians to interpret biochemical data for patient care.
- Participate in quality control and assurance programs to maintain lab standards.
Academic Responsibilities:
- Assist in teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in biochemistry.
- Deliver lectures conduct practical classes and mentor students during clinical postings.
- Organize and participate in departmental seminars case presentations and journal clubs.
Research Responsibilities:
- Initiate and participate in clinical and laboratorybased research projects.
- Prepare and publish research findings in peerreviewed journals.
- Present research findings in national and international conferences.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Assist the HOD in managing the daytoday activities of the Biochemistry department.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
- MBBS with MD (Biochemistry) from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
- Prior experience as a Junior Resident or equivalent in Biochemistry is preferred.
