You’ll Be Responsible For
Collaborates with senior leaders to deliver cost effective and efficient performance.
Supports the implementation of health safety and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards.
Carries out audits and inspections on behalf of the business and assists with the resolution of non-conformities raised in third party audits.
Participates in the development of new standards and ensure ongoing compliance.
Analyses results of audits, corrective actions and key performance indicators (KPI’s), identify gaps for continuous improvement.
Ensures Incident Investigations are completed on time and lessons are shared.
Manages & provides leadership to a team of Managers and Professionals, ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities, and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and deliver excellence.
Provides performance management, technical development, and coaching.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have
Experience and knowledge of HSW, legislation and delivery relevant to their area of work.
Improving management systems and the certification process.
Assurance and audit strategies.
Risk Management and mitigation.
Supporting and developing team members’ HSW competency.
Being able to present a range of technical information to non-technical audiences.
You’ll Also Have
Recognised degree in Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Fire Protection, or other Engineering degree with significant QSHE experience.
Formal audit qualification (preferably lead auditor ISO 45001:2018 or similar).
Professional Occupational Safety accreditation with NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
Extensive of professional experience in the SHE fields for workplace fit-out projects or similar.

Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to promote a culture of safety and engage employees in safety initiatives.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
