Job Description
Elderly Befriender Care Assistant
500 welcome bonus
15 per hour
Guaranteed hours
Drivers walkers and cyclists needed
13.39 per hour (15 earned wage including holiday pay) with working availability during the week and alternate weekends.
Home Instead Norfolk is expanding its team and looking for caring compassionate Elderly Befriender Care Assistants to support clients living at home with a range of needs throughout Norfolk and in your local area.
We currently have Care vacancies available with immediate starts. With clients needing a mixture of morning afternoon and evening support. At Home Instead we have a variety of working patterns these are listed below:
7am10pm
7am6pm
7am2pm
7am12pm
9am10pm
2pm 10pm
6pm10pm
All our care professionals work alternative weekends availability and typically work between 1035 hours per week.
Were looking for candidates who may already have experience as a Support Worker Care Assistant Elderly Befriender or in Domiciliary Care.
We would also love to hear from anyone who has experience caring for loved ones or been a volunteer. We would encourage you to apply as a Elderly Befriender Care Assistant with Home Instead as full training and support will be given.

Being a Care Assistant means you need to be adaptable personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:
Companionship
Helping with some possible personal care
Helping with mobility around the home
Overseeing medication and providing medical support
Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
Preparing and cooking meals
Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
500 welcome bonus will be split paid at 250 after 3 months employment and 250 after 6 months.
Care Assistants MUST have a Valid UK Driving Licence (with access to a vehicle for work purposes) and have the Right to work in the UK as we currently do not offer sponsorship.
