Job Description

Are you an experienced Electrical and Controls professional looking to take the lead in maintenance excellence Do you have a passion for driving reliability efficiency and continuous improvement in a fastpaced manufacturing environment

We are looking for an Electrical and Controls Asset Care Lead to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our FMCG lines. This is your chance to step into a leadership role where youll mentor a skilled maintenance team optimize system performance and champion a safetyfirst culture.

What You Be Doing

Leading & Developing the Team

  • Mentoring and training technicians in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Supporting change management and adaptation to new technologies

Ensuring Safety & Compliance

  • Conducting risk assessments and safety audits
  • Championing a safetyfirst mindset across the maintenance team
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Driving Performance & Efficiency

  • Developing preventive maintenance schedules using Idhammar CMMS
  • Monitoring and analyzing equipment performance to proactively prevent breakdowns
  • Leading reactive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime
  • Running weekly monthly and quarterly Source of Loss meetings to drive efficiency improvements

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure highquality output
  • Implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to optimize system performance
  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation for electrical and control systems

Budget & Stakeholder Management

  • Managing maintenance budgets and identifying costsaving opportunities
  • Providing technical support to production teams for seamless operations
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensuring service excellence

Reporting & Professional Growth

  • Generating monthly reports on key equipment losses and longterm solutions
  • Staying up to date with the latest electrical and control technologies including PLCs and SCADA systems
  • Encouraging ongoing training and professional development for yourself and the team

What You Need to Succeed

  • Degree HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role within FMCG or manufacturing
  • Proven expertise in PLCs SCADA systems and industrial control systems
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance reactive maintenance and CI methodologies
  • Experience using Idhammar CMMS or similar maintenance management systems
  • Leadership problemsolving and analytical skills to drive operational success

Relevant certifications in electrical engineering maintenance or project management are a plus.
