Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Backend team and work alongside them to build and enhance the next version of our merchantfacing platform.
When it comes to technical stack we are hosted in AWS use EKS and our primary development language is Go. As we always strive to use the best tool for the job we use a combination of Redis DynamoDB and Postgres for persistence layer and REST gRPC and queues for communication.
We are experiencing constant growth in the number of transactions handled new clients and integrations. Thats why we pay very close attention to elegant design and scalability of the platform. We are looking for dedicated engineers who would like to join us on our journey.
Qualifications :
- At least 2 years of experience in software development with the Go language
- Experienced in the payments domain (ideally payment service providers integrations) and willing to expand that knowledge further
- Know your way around webrelated tech (HTTP TLS proxies API conventions...)
- Experience deploying applications as a part of a serviceoriented architecture
- Able and keen to communicate with thirdparty API providers to clarify API contracts
- Always curious and passionate about understanding the business
- Being productminded and having a passion for solving for our merchants
What you will be doing
- Working within our Integration team to deliver new API connections with Payment Service Providers maintain existing integrations and help evolve the platform by implementing new functionalities and optimizing performance.
- Contributing to services and overall architecture by discussing technical solutions proposing enhancements and actively contributing to our codebases.
- Setting out standards and mentoring more junior team members.
- Cooperating with the Product team on designing building and releasing new features.
