Job Description
Summary
The Service Porter is an entrylevel position where this individual will be responsible in maintaining the dealerships appearance assisting with vehicle movement and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane service stalls and parking lot as needed.
- Keep the dealership lot driveways and sidewalks clean organized and presentable
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel
- Support sales and service departments with various tasks as required (i.e. Replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance tasks)
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in the elements (outdoor conditions as needed)
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Physically able to drive and move vehicles
- Must be able to work weekends
- Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealerships professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must be willing to undergo preemployment compliance requirements: Drug testing background check MVR.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry
- Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus
Additional Information :
Compensation (Hourly):
- $21.00 / hour
*The Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of twentyone dollars an hour*
Schedule:
- FULL TIME
- 5 days a week / 2 days off
- Off Sundays
- Weekend availability required
- Service Drive Hours:
- Monday Friday: 7:30am to 6pm
- Saturday: 7:30am to 5:30pm
