We are seeking professionals for the Strategic Logistics Planner role to develop and synchronize logistics plans exercises and training activities that support USCENTCOM s mission and priorities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop logistics plans exercises and training using the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) and Joint Doctrine (JP 40 and JP 50).
- Synchronize logistics planning with USCENTCOM Component Commands Combatant Commands Joint Staff OSD Defense Logistics Agency and other Federal entities.
- Provide subject matter expertise on sustainment and logistics functions to operational planning teams and USCENTCOM staff.
- Collaborate with CCJ4 to address strategic and regional logistics concerns.
- Support planning efforts requiring knowledge of military planning training and exercising techniques.
- Draft logistics content for USCENTCOM plans and orders ensuring alignment with Joint Doctrine.
- Maintain a theater logistics running estimate to support planning and execution.
- Track and develop products for the USCENTCOM Requirements Review Process coordinating with components host nations and DoD entities.
Requirements
Required
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Graduate of the Joint Logistics Course or equivalent program.
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic logistics planning.
- Minimum of 3 years working at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters or Service Component Headquarters supporting a Geographic Combatant Command.
Desired
- Master s degree in a relevant field.
- Expertise in JOPP JOPES Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) and Joint Doctrine.
