The Senior Resident in Anatomy plays a vital role in medical education and training providing teaching support to undergraduate and postgraduate students conducting research and offering clinical expertise in the field of anatomy. Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Academic Duties:
- Conduct lectures practical sessions and tutorials for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise and guide students during dissection and other practical anatomyrelated tasks.
- Assist in developing and improving the anatomy curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Prepare and evaluate examination materials such as question papers practical tests and viva voce.
Clinical Duties:
- Collaborate with clinical departments to provide anatomical expertise as needed.
- Participate in the preparation and delivery of clinical anatomy workshops and cadaveric skill labs.
Research Activities:
- Undertake and contribute to research projects in the field of anatomy or related areas.
- Publish research findings in reputable medical journals and present at academic conferences.
- Mentor students in research projects and foster an environment of academic inquiry.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed academic records of students progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development and decisionmaking.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines in teaching and research activities.
Other Duties:

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Requirements: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Anatomy from a recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 35 years of experience as a junior resident in anatomy or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience is preferred.
