Job Description
As a Billing Specialist you will play a crucial role in managing fees pricing changes and ensuring smooth information flow. Youll track shipments handle document management processes and resolve discrepancies with precision contributing to a seamless transportation logistics experience.
Job Overview
Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (COL)
Work setup: Onsite Bogot
Your Daily Tasks
- Monitor and report fees and pricing changes.
- Ensure accurate billing information for clients.
- Handle and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Facilitate smooth communication between departments and clients.
- Download and present necessary documents to clients.
- Collect and organize documents for billing and shipping.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify and address shipmentrelated issues proactively.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing or shipping information.
- Escalate issues with proper documentation for resolution.
- Manage and upload document requests to the system.
- Ensure efficient collection and organization of all necessary documents.
- Anticipate and address potential issues proactively.
- Suggest improvements to streamline billing and shipping processes.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- Experience in transportation logistics particularly in lessthantruckload (LTL) and packet shipping.
- Familiarity with billing processes and pricing management in the transportation industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the MS Office Suite particularly Excel (medium knowledge required).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- English Level: C1 proficiency.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
