We are currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our high performing team based at Sydney airport. The main function of this role is to carry out maintenance on Jetstar aircraft in a timely and safe manner in accordance with company requirements. We want to hear from you if you are logical can see the big picture and do not mind working in a fastpaced and sometimes unpredictable environment. We work in a dynamic environment and you will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to this team.
Reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager some of the key responsibilities of this role are:
- Carry out maintenance on company aircraft
- Quality Control for aircraft presentation upon completion of maintenance and prior to release to service
- Delivering quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard Ensuring all WHS and Quality policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure timely and correct completion of all work carried out
- Comply with Jetstars Safety Management System
- Required to work at other ports (including international locations) as required
- Comply with all Jetstar training and compliance requirements
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and outside service providers
Ready for your next adventure Were on the hunt for someone who:
- Has completed Certificate IV in Aeroskills with previous A320/321 experience desirable
- Has excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage self and others
- Upholds a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Has experience in Line and/or Base Maintenance
- Has a proven commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement initiatives
- Has proven problemsolving skills and the ability to handle competing demands particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders; and
- Holds a valid driving license and ability to obtain an airside drivers license
- Is willing and able to perform shift work
