About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Engineer to provide technical leadership in the planning design deployment and commissioning of EV charging infrastructure. The role will involve working closely with customers internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of EV chargers vehicles charge management systems and power distribution infrastructure.

This role is ideal for an engineer with experience in electrical distribution control systems and SCADAbased monitoring who thrives in problemsolving and stakeholder management. The EV charging domain is evolving rapidly and fleets are struggling with interoperability challenges your expertise will be crucial in simplifying this transition for customers.



Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Engineering Support

  • Conduct electrical design reviews and provide technical recommendations for EV charging projects.

  • Develop concept designs and cost estimates for depot and grid upgrades.

  • Act as an Owners Engineer for clients managing EPC projects for fleet electrification.

  • Provide value engineering and fitforpurpose solutions to optimize charging infrastructure.

  • Lead technical troubleshooting for issues related to chargers vehicles telematics and power systems.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with local electrical codes and industry standards.

Project Management & Deployment

  • Oversee and coordinate installation commissioning and testing of EV charging infrastructure.

  • Work closely with OEMs contractors and system integrators to ensure smooth deployment.

  • Supervise Charge Management System (CMS) integration at customer sites.

  • Establish strong relationships with local installers and maintenance providers.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers providing ongoing support and guidance.

  • Build strong client relationships acting as a trusted advisor for fleet electrification projects.

  • Train customer staff on platform functionality and best practices.

  • Attend client meetings and ensure all stakeholders remain informed on project progress.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer solutions and suggest valueadded services.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Work closely with internal software and product teams to align technical solutions with customer needs.

  • Provide realworld feedback to help shape product development and drive innovation.

  • Implement inspection and test plans to ensure quality and reliability.

  • Establish feedback loops to enhance internal processes and service offerings.

Key Requirements

MustHave Skills & Experience

  1. Multidisciplinary troubleshooting experience across electrical networking and software domains.

  2. Proven experience in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects in the energy sector (renewables power generation transmission/distribution or control systems) including design and commissioning experience.

  3. University degree in Engineering (Electrical Electronics Control Systems Telecommunications or similar).

  4. Strong ability to build client relationships provide exceptional customer service and act as a trusted advisor.

  5. Handson experience with SCADA systems energy management platforms or monitoring & troubleshooting software.

  6. Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to evolving project scopes customer needs and emerging technologies. Ability to accommodate occasional afterhours support.

NicetoHave Skills & Experience

  • Stakeholder coordination experience with OEMs installers utilities and internal teams.

  • Background in commercial and contract management for infrastructure projects.

  • Ability to identify upsell opportunities based on customer needs and usage patterns.

  • Familiarity with local and regional electrical regulations affecting EV infrastructure.
