Job Description
- Sweeps and mops floors. Washes worktables walls refrigerators and meat blocks.
- Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
- Steamcleans or hosesout garbage cans. Sorts bottles and breaks disposable ones in bottlecrushing machine.
- Washes pots pans and trays by hand. Ses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Polishes silver using burnishingmachine tumbler chemical dip buffing wheel and hand cloth.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand truck.
- Sets up banquet tables washes and peels vegetables using knife or peeling machine.
- Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
- Under take any other related tasks assigned by department incharge.
Qualifications :
- Preferably 1 year experience as Kitchen Assistant
- Basic knife skills
- Selfmotivated attitude
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Flexibility in regards to your work availability is essential as the Production Kitchen operates 7 days a week including evenings weekends and public holidays.
