Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 4:30 PM 3:00 AM MondaySaturday

Position: Shop Helper
Duration: Temp to Hire
Pay: $18/hr
Job Overview:
The Shop Helper will assist craftsmen and support various operations in a fabrication shop. This position involves working with and around overhead cranes forklifts trucks power equipment automated equipment and other hazardous processes classifying this role as Safety Sensitive.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist craftsmen with assigned tasks.
Operate overhead cranes and power tools safely and efficiently.
Read and write basic shop communications.
Use a tape measure to ensure accurate measurements.
Learn to read shop drawings and understand bills of materials.
Uphold the companys 5S requirements productivity standards and quality standards.
Perform all tasks in a professional manner adhering to safety and quality protocols.
Skills and Experience Required:
Basic fabrication shop experience.
Ability to operate overhead cranes and power tools.
Strong communication skills for shoprelated documentation.
Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
