Job Description

Position Summary



Meet the responsibilities to personnel on your team. This includes leading your team in a manner consistent with the Vision and Values of Beacon. This requires active leadership and vigilance in affording our employees a safe fair and learning environment. The Team Leaders primary responsibilities are to perform all assigned tasks in a manner which supports our Company Mission To deliver exceptional services engineered solutions and quality products on time.

Essential Functions

  • Support meeting all operator training needs.
  • Provide input to Supervisor on team member performance.
  • Support consistent and complete administration of Beacons policies.
  • Attend all schedule shift meetings and huddles
  • Ensure and maintain a safe work environment for all Beacon employees.
  • Assists Operators CMOs and/ or Supervisor trouble shooting process problems.
  • Follow all safety guidelines
  • Report safety concerns to Supervisor.
  • Help relieve other operators during break periods.
  • Complete any task that is asked of you by your Supervisor.
  • Capable of filling in as a Supervisor on an as needed basis.
  • Advise next Team Leader of any information about press or molded parts.
  • Assist the other Team Leaders and your Supervisor in meeting the production schedule each day.
  • Actively promote the 5S program.
  • Enter all production into system and reconcile at end of shift entering s and downtime reasons during the shift.
  • Review quality rejects with Supervisor.
  • Ensure operators complete attribute charts and assist operators with questions regarding recording data.
  • 100% completion of SPC Attribute Charts and Audits.
  • Able to meet Beacon Engineered Solutions Corporate Values:

Required Skills:

  1. Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs.
  2. Good mechanical ability and attention to detail
  3. Ability to learn quickly
  4. Certified Molding Operator completed

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience on the use of measuring tools helpful
  2. Good Math skills
  3. Prior manufacturing experience
  4. Selfmotivated team player
  5. Blueprint reading helpful

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED

Current Beacon Employee

Training in general safety

Experience as Certified Molding Operator

Pay with Overnight Shift Differential: $21.75/hr to $23.00/hr
